Immunisations for Foreign Travel
Please contact the nurse at lease 6 weeks before you intend to travel. A charge will be made for certain vaccinations which are not covered by the NHS. A list of these charges is held at the reception or can be discussed with our Practice Nurse at your appointment.
Cervical Cytology (Smears)
The surgery offers all ladies a cervical smear test every three years, or more often if indicated. This is a simple test which can detect early changes in the cervix (neck of the womb). It is important to have these tests done regularly.
HRT: (hormone replacement therapy)
Family Planning Services
All our Doctors and the Practice Nurses offer full contraceptive advice to patients of the practice (including barrier methods, coil, diaphragms and contraceptive pills). The service is available everyday during normal surgery hours. Emergency contraception is available from the surgery by prescription only or it may be purchased from your local pharmacy. The Practice also fits coils I.U.C.Ds on a weekly basis after counselling by a GP or Practice Nurse.
Child Immunisation Clinic
A child immunisation clinic is held every Monday & Friday morning between 9.00 am and midday. This is run by the Practice Nurse with a Doctor in attendance.

Antenatal Clinic
Antenatal clinics are run by the community midwife every Tuesday between 1pm and 3pm at the surgery.
If you become pregnant, you will be given a 'booking appointment' at which the midwife will ask a few questions and carry out some general health checks. You will be seen regularly throughout your pregnancy either at the practice or at the local hospital or both.
Post Natal Check Ups
These are done by the doctors 6 weeks after the birth of your baby.
Parent Craft Ante-Natal/Relaxation Sessions
These are held 10.00 a.m-12 noon at Spelthorne Clinic, Feltham Hill Road, Ashford, by Health Visitors' invitation.
Post-Natal Group
This is run every Friday by appointment at Ashford Clinic, by Health Visitors.
Child Development Clinic
Child 6-8 week development check, these are run by Dr Ashouri by appointment every Wednesday between 11.00 am and 11.30 am.
Child development check 9 month review, by appointment at Ashford Clinic by Health Visitor.
Well Baby Clinic
Run by the Health Visitors every Tuesday afternoon between 1.00 pm and 3.00pm, an appointment is not required at Ashford Clinic, Stanwell Road, Ashford or every Wednesday afternoon 1.30 pm and 3.30pm Saxon Hall, Feltham Hill Road, Ashford.
Minor Operations Clinics / Wart Treatment
This is arranged by the doctors. Details will be provided when you are advised to book to for your minor operation with the doctor. Thursdays 12pm, Friday 12pm. Once a month we offer a liquid nitrogen service for wart treatment.
Flu Vaccines
An influenza vaccination is recommended for patients with heart, lung, kidney disease, diabetes, and asthma, all patients over 65 years old and residence of nursing and residential homes. Please contact our receptionist at the end of September for details of our vaccination clinic dates and to make an appointment. If you are unable to attend the surgery through infirmity we can arrange a home visit.
Outreach Eye Clinic
By GP referral only, held on the first Tuesday of each month with a Consultant.
Treatment Room Services
These are provided by District Nurse through their own appointment system: 01784 250001 e.g.: dressings following hospital admission.
Phlebotomist Clinic
For patients requiring blood tests (with a form) held on Thursday mornings.
