GPs will make home visits only to patients who are too ill or immobile to come to the surgery.

Please try to telephone the surgery before 11.00am when requesting a home visit.

Home visits will be arranged after this time. When calling, be prepared to describe your problems to the receptionist; this will help the GP to decide if he or she needs to make a home visit and/or telephone you back to discuss the situation.

The vast majority of problems are best seen at the surgery. Please do try to come to surgery whenever possible as facilities are better for examination and treatment.

We regret that we cannot guarantee that any particular GP will be able to make a particular house call.
