APPOINTMENTS
Appointments can be
booked in person at reception, by
telephoning 01784 242251 or 01784
420133 between 8.00am and 6.00 pm or
online.
You also have the option to book up
to 6 weeks in advance if this is
more convenient for you.
Urgent cases are seen on the day.
Please arrive in good time for your
appointment and inform the
receptionist on your arrival. All
routine doctor appointments are
booked for 10 minutes. If there are
several things you wish to discuss
it is helpful to mention them all at
the beginning.
We try our best to run to time but
on occasions surgeries can run late
because earlier consultations have
taken longer or there has been an
emergency that needed your doctor?s
urgent attention. We ask for your
understanding and patience at such
times.
If you are late for an appointment
you may be asked to re-book. This is
primarily out of fairness for
subsequent patients who do attend on
time who would otherwise be
penalised for your lateness.
Where possible, please try to see
the same doctor for follow-up
appointments in any particular
episode of illness.
We try to offer an appointment
within 48 hours; however, you may
have to wait longer if you want to
see a specific doctor. In some
cases, you may feel that there is no
need for a personal consultation
with the doctor and that your
problem could be dealt by a
telephone consultation.If this is
the case please inform the
receptionist.

Cancelling Appointments
If you are unable to attend please
let us know as soon as possible by
telephone in order that your
appointment can be offered to
someone else.

TELEPHONE
ADVICE
The doctors are
usually available to speak to after
surgery each morning between
11.30a.m and 12.00p.m. However, you
may be asked to phone back again if
the Doctor is still seeing patients.
Telephone Lines will be closed
between 1pm 2.30pm, in case of an
emergency please call 07786 535 467.
